What Consumers Have To Say!

There are thousands of ‘Blogs’ where consumers – like you - are expressing their feelings about the negative experience they have had with REALTORS®.

Unlike most professions that deal in multi-hundred thousand dollar transactions, ‘real estate’ as an industry is probably the least regulated with the least consequences for violations, etc. It is very easy to get into the business – and create havoc before leaving. About 93% of the agents who are licensed today will be out of the business in less than 18-months.

In fact, most consumers don’t understand ‘how’ to check out an agent claims. Two agents can look and sound exactly the same. Consider the new agent who buys a $20 sign that says: AREA EXPERT. When this same agent ‘hides’ behind the brand of a known national or local real estate company, the Consumer can become very, very confused. And, even more challenging is the experienced agents ability to set themselves apart from these lesser experienced agents.

Regulations aside, the real value between REALTORS® is clearly their level experience and integrity. Experienced REALTORS® do the right thing; they take the high road. They know their art – how to understand a buyer and a seller needs and find the common ground to facilitate their mutual needs.

PRC offers Consumers the ability to know the one agent in each community who has past a test. They have met a standard. PRC does the ‘homework’ most consumers don’t know how to do.

Our Goal is to provide you, the Consumer a REALTOR® who helps you have a pleasant experience when you buy or sell your next home. It is the goal of each PRC Council Member to EXCEED your expectations.

In the tradition of JD Power®, AAA® and the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval® PRC uses its independent third party status to verify a REALTORS® competency before he or she can become known as a PRC Council Member; a REALTOR® whom PRC can recommend to the CONSUMER.

The Blogs below have NOT been edited. We have NOT censored anything. We have not corrected spelling. We present it as it was ‘copied and pasted’ from the blog. It is as it is written. If you don’t want your next real estate experience to be like these, consider hiring a REALTOR® who is PRC Council Member.

-She was everything you don't want in any agent. She was intimidated by the sellers and their agent so she was afraid to ask for items.

-She also seemed quite desperate to make a sale. She would panic anytime we made a request or sought to negotiate a lower deal.

-Her negotiation skills were terrible and she cost us a lot of money because she was so afraid of upsetting the other party.

-She didn't know basic rules related to real estate; I have no idea how she passed her exams.

-I would never hire her again or refer her to anyone else. If we had a more experienced, knowledgeable and confident realtor, we would have saved a lot more money. Do not hire this person!

-If we hadn't been first time buyers we probably would have been smarter, but not knowing the process she walked all over us.

-TRUE LIAR, CHEATER, SCAMMER!!

-doesn't even speak English very well so we don't understand how she is able to deal transactions as an agent.

Faileded to deliver HOA docs. Lied about ever ordering them.

-Goes incommunicado for days on end.

-Puts house back on active market while still in contract!

-In cahoots with closing agent and will try to swindle money out of you on HUD-1.

-States home is short sale and will be foreclosed. This appears to be a LIE as it's now been on market for over 270 days and is still active!

-As as a buyer, She will try to get money out of you. As a seller, be prepared for possible foreclosure if you are in short sale.

-did not work for my interest and and after i fond a house that i want the price went up. She also try to make me sign that she will be the agent for the seller and buyer. She did not informed me about this at first but did when am ready to purchace.

-This person is arrogant and stubborn. He took several vacations during the listing and was never available for calls. No one covered for him while he was away.

-His attitude cost us 6 months.

-THEIVE, DRUG ADDICT & a LIAR. This FAKE realtor claims to know his way around Real Estate & mortgage. He stole my computer, smoked something in my back yard, kicked my dog for being in his way and lied about disclosures my husband was supposed to sign. STAY AWAY

-Horrible service, HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME

-She is shady. Avoid at all costs. Will make false promises and not follow through.

-After you sign the offer, she will not be responsible to your questions/requests to the seller. She also tries to delay everything that she promises to follow up for you (a buyer). What she actually wants is just your money and your prompt action to close a deal. Strongly recommend to step away from her.

Filled out illegal forms to push a sale...at the time I didn't know what she was doing was fraud.

-She sold me a house. Absolutely lied to me. Told me she would give me after sale support, cover my first HOA fee, etc. When time came, after the commission cleared, absolutely nothing.

-He was the sellers agent he never disclosed stuff he should have He claimed the pool was heated the heater but the gas was not turned on to test it well heater did not work had to be replaced. Leak in the pool they knew there was a leak but never disclosed leaks in the sprinkler system as well all was said when confronted be happy you bought the house as is Buddy and for a good price so tuff

- DONT TRUST ANYONE! READ BEFORE YOU SIGN! That is a huge lesson i learned from all of this!

-This guy sold me on his experience and on how many homes he has sold. His promises were all lies and he did nothing to sell my home. His brochure was just awful and unprofessional. When I tried to cancel my contract, he told me I'd have to pay him $2,000 to get out of it. Other realtors have told me that is highly unethical and gives all realtors a bad reputation. What a fool I am to have believed all his talk. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Beware of this guy!!!!!!!!!

-At closing, the papers were off by thousands of dollars and we had to repay that amount. Did not offer any help for the error.

-I set up a phone interview/ appointment where she wanted my husband present as well. She never called. So I called her back the next day to see if I should have called her. She said it was her screw up, that she didn't write it down. She willingly set up another phone appointment with us and left us by the phone waiting once again. It's so sad when people are so prejudice. We will never again make the mistake of contacting this realtor nor anyone associated with her office

-Realtor does not like nor will she deal with people who move to TX from the North. Set up two phone appointments with us and then left us sitting by the phone.

- worst Realtor and broker. EVER!

-changed my contract with out my knowledge.

-does not answer the phone, rarely answers emails. doesn't know how to format or send professional emails. is rarely in the office. leaves the key under the door of the office on closing day

-Both borrowed money and have not repaid it.

- Very indifferent to the needs of the client once signed up, you become dollar signs to them...

-SHE WAS THE MOST DISHONEST IVE DEALT WITH, AND ITS A SHAME THE ONES LIKE HER GIVE ALL A BAD REPUTATION.

-I wish I could have seen a submission like this before we chose her, because then I would have really questioned if I wanted someone like her working for me.

-This OLD MAN needs to be put out to be pasture.... He has SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS and LIES.... His supervisor fails to acknowledge the fact that a SALE and a SELLER was both lost due to the lack of professionalism of this PERSON.

-Scam and fraud he use our credit to purchase an apartment, and put his name in the title of our house There is nowhere to find him now, I NEED help to report him, to get justice. He acts as loan officer and realtor of fake realty company.

-she manipulated us greatly, was very pushy, opinionated and dishonest.

-Terrible experience, just terrible. Beware and check her references. Don't give her any personal information if you don't want the rest of the world knowing it.

- Not trustworthy. Will lie and say anything to make a sale.

-Lies to make the sale. Not trustworthy.

-unethical, sneaky, shady and can't be trusted, he's a law suit in waiting DONT DO Business with this Broker or his agents, you've been warned.

-This lady is notorious conwoman. For First time home buyers beware of this woman.

-No experience or clue about what he is doing. Does not listen to his client and just wants a sale. Complete waste of time and money.

-Please don't waste your money or time with this agent.

-stay away from Realtors

-She would not let my realtor help the buyer get funding because she wanted to keep all the fees for herself. She has this reputation with-in the buying market, and my agent stayed in touch the whole time, because of her sloppy reputation. I am filing a complaint with DRE, and have contacted attorneys, because she was negligent, and did not let us know that the buyer was also a flake.

-Our realator was a buyers agent whoi lied did no work for his money and suggested an unqualifed home inspection agent. He did not show up at the closing, would not return phone calls and said aful things about me to those involved in the deal.

-After two months of dealing with this realtor who could not even tell us how she was marketing our town home, not even an open house, we decided to switch realtors. We had confided in her that we had already started construction on a new home and she later used this information, with another buyer, resulting in us loosing $4000.00 on the sale of our home. I would not recommend her to any seller!

- We were first time home buyers and quite organized, but we also trusted her (unfortunately). We were told we'd have a 1-year home warranty...when the air conditioner went out in the first 3 months we found out we did not. Of course she didn't bother to return our phone calls. Oh wait, she did return one...a month later! We didn't receive the inspection report until the day before signing, never received the plat or receipts for repairs. She represented the seller too, it is now quite evident that she was only interested in the seller. Now we know better...but buyers and sellers beware. She is a greedy wolf in sheep's clothing.

-a highly unethical real estate agent. He does NOT work for you. Be careful working with him. He is a snake. He needs to go and sale used cards. Pathetic liar!

-I asked him to cancel the contract a few weeks ago and he did not reply until I sent him another message telling him that I would be contacting every realtors association that he belongs to.When he replied to that request he was very aggitated and simply told me to go find another realtor. I asked him for a signed cancellation of our contract but he is refusing to provide one. hopefully this will all be over soon and I can move on to a much more adequate realtor.

-We live out of town and I've been in and out of the hospital battling breast cancer. Neighbors reported several times that the sign had blown down and was halfway across the yard. We found out later that the agent had not been to the home in several months, although she had offer to help keep us informed when we needed the lawn taken care of or needed to come over to do a new cleaning. She put a fake lock box on the garage door for no apparent reason and when people would use the automatic door opener it punched holes into the ceiling of the garage. When we contacted her about this she laughed in our faces and said that wasn't her responsibility.

-Where do I start?!?! the most unethical person I've ever come across in my life. She is out for #1 only. She tells you what you want to hear, never answers your questions directly, her staff is just as rude as she is. NEVER use this relator, she is mean, rude and will only be out for herself!-

-She was very forceful and unprofessional. I hate to sound mean, but she had a bad mouth and full of lies. I would not trust her!!!! Crookedest of them all.

-Incompetent. Doesn't return phone calls. If this realtor had a real job that meant actually showing up and doing a job on a certain day or time, she would not last a day. Paperwork is incomplete and incorrect. She is an embarrasment to realtors and gives all realtors a bad name.

-collected money but never came to closing. Worked only four hours at contract to collect 3% when major problems (i.e. wrong name on title) were happening. NO COMMUNICATION AND COMPLETE DISREGARD TO MY (BUYER) NEEDS TO FINILIZE THE DEAL. I had to do 100% of the work with title company to make the sale happen.

-Cancelled listing on October 2, 2007 by an attorney with a cease and desist letter. Noticed again on Oct. 24, 2007. Refuses to delist property and has ignored every letter. In addition, has lowered price of listing without permission. A real disgrace to the business. Sellers beware of this unscrupulous realtor. Board of realtors is next to be noticed.

- Placed my dog in a small closet while showing the apartment with no warning. I came home to hear my dog whimpering and panting in the closet. Left lights on, windows open, and doors unlocked regularly. Upon requesting an end to listing with her agency, she repeatedly called my cell phone and harrassed me.

-Insisted that I remove my children from the property while the condo was on the market. Showed my condo at random without warning at all hours. Rarely returned calls. Refused to give me information on interested clients. Did not provide advertising on website/local papers that had been promised. Yelled at me when I did not agree in the "staging" of my previously professionally designed condo. Refused to drop price on the market when it was far too high for my neigborhood. Tried to charge me fees for listing with her other realtor friends when I did not request this service.

-The whole company is a scam..stay away! Tell every one to run from this group of con artists!

-You can sum her up in one word. DISHONEST!

-LAZY SCAM! Before we signed with her, she claimed that she knew someone that would love our house... after we signed these people disappeared.

-Late to every meeting. Pushy. Seemed more concerned about his commission than putting me in a good house. Took forever to answer questions or passed the buck to someone else or told me to do it myself. Didn’t even find my house, I DID!

-No incidents because nothing was done. With no advertising, she spent about 2 hours one day doing an "Open House". She is greedy and wants ALL the money with out putting any into the advertising and open houses. She has let this house sit on the market for months with no word from her, no advertising, no open houses, NOTHING!

-Wow, were do I start. This guy is good looking and very nice. He comes across well until it is time for any kind of detail, information or help. He doesn't return calls. He has no clue about the closing process and more important will make up stories and lie right to your face. Stay ver far away from this man and his broker. All they care about is getting the commission and wasting your time.

This guy doesn't take calls and doesn't seem to care about showing my house. I'm trying to fire him, but I want to warn everyone to stay away!

-a highly unethical real estate agent. He does NOT work for you. Be careful working with him. He is a snake. He needs to go and sale used cars. Pathetic liar!

- I don't believe a thing real estate agents say. I don't hate them just the tricky and inexperienced ones. Which in my opinion is most of them. Take the "no obligation market evaluation" for example, the oldest and most unoriginal term you will see advertised. Do they think people are stupid? The real definition should be, “yes I will come over to your home, tell you what it’s worth, then I will bug the hell out of you until you list it with me". In the meantime, they will send you some “awesome” fridge magnets, calendars and pencils just so you don’t them. I have written at length about this, I'm NOT selling anything, just a frank, real world discussion.

- After many years of dealing with moronic, self absorbed, big talking realtors I decided to attend school to get my own license so I can better understand what these people do.

Come to find out you don't even need to have graduated high school to be a realtor…. I think this explains a LOT.

My teacher is this middle aged, Midwestern woman who is a Broker and if she is anything to go by you know that being a realtor is really something special.

I have spent what seems like an eternity sitting in a classroom listening to all her war stories of bad customers, problem situations and how she becomes a hero through her stellar knowledge of the business. In fact she even went to say that being a Realtor is like any other professional job like a Lawyer or architect….

Ah. Hold the phone hunny! My dad is an architect and I can tell you the man not only was required to finish high school but the 7 years of school that he went through was a little more intense than the 90 hours it takes to be a Realtor. I would have thought they were more like used car salesmen with a set of keys to your home.

She sits there on her throne class after class, making disparaging comments about, students she doesn't like and the other instructor that is also a Broker, and complains how the text book that we use is not sufficient. Hell get this she is going to write her own book - god help us all, this is the ego that I am dealing with.

I am sure you get the idea.

Anyway just another power tripping, upper-middle aged woman that dresses herself from a mail-in catalogue. ( She has the same pair of sandals - I kid you not in 4 different colors) There is someone with a whole lot of imagination.

So after all of this not only am I completely disgusted in Realtors and Brokers and all the xxxxxx they represent….
