Deb Shrider

Sometimes it’s easy to know what we want to say, but hard to find the right words… that’s when we turn on Deb Shrider, an experienced writer whose clientele reads like a "who’s who" in real estate. As PRC’s wordsmith, she helps us achieve visibility through the written word - whether that visibility is to the Consumers (parents), our Local Partners™ or the media.

Originally from London, England, and now a US Citizen, Deb's background includes working for the Public Relations Department of the Disneyland Hotel, and as Coordinator for the City of Brea's Youth and Family Services. She served as the Communications and Education Director for local real estate trade associations where she handled media and community relations programs. She was also the managing editor of an award winning monthly membership newspaper. As Communications Manager for Homeseekers™, (one of the first companies to make real estate listings available on the web), she was responsible for placing national advertising, developing marketing collateral, and writing materials for a seminar developed to help real estate agents market themselves on the Internet.

She successfully founded "Put It In Writing" a company that handles personal and corporate promotion for local, national and international clients and she is also a partner with two other award winning communications professionals at Tripledge Marketing Associates.

On a personal note, Deb has a strong history of volunteerism and was named a "Volunteer of the Year" for Brea Neuropsychiatric Center where she wrote and edited the "Volunteer Spirit" newsletter, and worked with suicidal teens. She also served on the Brea Theatre League's Board of Directors as Publicity Chairman. Deb received a commendation for her volunteer work from the Mayor of Brea, as one of those people who "make the difference". She is a single mom raising a teenage daughter, and has first-hand knowledge of relocation issues, having survived moving three times in an 18 month period!

Deb has been "in the know" about the PRC story from its inception. She handles a myriad of communication and public relations duties for PRC. As a parent who has relocated, she has empathy for moving families, and with her strong background of service to real estate professionals, she understands the marketing challenges facing our Local Partners and Regional Directors. Deb brings a well-rounded skill set of knowledge and experience to PRC and we are delighted she is part of the PRC team.
